The State Deputy is the elected leader of the Knights of Columbus State Council, overseeing all council activities within the state.
The State Coats for Kids Chairman is appointed to manage and promote the Coats for Kids program at the state level.

The Knights of Columbus has worked closely with our supplier to secure high-quality coats at an affordable price for this year’s Coats for Kids program. As in previous years, the final cost of coats reflects several external factors. Due to increased costs for the programs, prices for coats have increased by $3 per coat ($36 per case of 12 coats) for toddler, child, youth, teen, and adult size coats. Lightweight coats have increased by $1.50 per coat ($36 per case of 24 coats).

Discounts or matching programs, such as the Supreme Council’s Buy One Get One (BOGO) program, may be available through state councils. For any discount requests or inquiries about financial assistance, councils should contact their State Deputy or State Coats for Kids Chairman. These individuals can provide details on state-specific programs or subsidies and the paperwork needed to quailfy.

To request discounts or financial assistance, councils should reach out directly to their State Deputy or State Coats for KidsChairman. For example, some states participate in matching programs where the Supreme Council matches each case of coats purchased, effectively reducing the cost per coat. Your State Deputy or Chairmancan confirm eligibility and deadlines for such programs.

Price of shipping is included in the cost of the coats, but Supreme subsidizes the price.

Councils must purchase 6 or more cases of coats of any style in the United States and 4 or more cases of any style in Canada. Yes, they could be of different styles.

Yes, you will still receive one credit towards the Columbian award if you purchase less than the required cases to receive featured program credit or if coats are ordered from a different vendor.

We typically ship coats within 3–4 business days of your order via UPS
or FedEx Ground. Delivery usually takes 5–10 days in total. (Please note that
due to truck space limitations, your order may arrive in multiple shipments on
different days.)

Once your coats ship, you’ll receive a master tracking number that you
can use to monitor the delivery at UPS.com
or FedEx.com. Please continue to refer
to this tracking information until your full order is delivered.

Once the shipment is in the UPS or FedEx system, you’ll have the most
control over delivery options and updates directly through their platforms.

UPS does not offer a service with drop offs at a specific time.  UPS Delivers from 8am - 9pm M-F and until 6pm on Saturdays.  Once you receive your tracking number you may be able to contact UPS to make delivery time or location changes.  We cannot intervene once the package is on its way to you.

Churches are seen as businesses by UPS so unless the church has indicated their hours of service boxes may be left at the church or rectory door.  There is no way to pre-determine where UPS leaves packages.

Coats are prepacked in cases with mixed sizes for each gender and size and cannot be broken apart.

• The factories producing the coats undergo an annual audit by a 3rd party firm to review and ensure they abide by ethical business practices and have a safe work environment.
